Everyone is asking what AI will automate.
Far fewer are asking what will continue to make people indispensable.
I recently joined John Golden on the SalesPOP! podcast to discuss my book, An Inbox Between Us, and explore some of the questions organizations are beginning to face as AI becomes part of everyday work.

After spending years working in and around large-scale transformation efforts, I’ve become convinced that many organizations underestimate how much judgment, lived experience, and human context influence the work taking place around them every day.
Technology continues to evolve.
Human experience evolves too.
What often gets overlooked is how those two increasingly interact.
John and I explored questions such as:
What continues to make people indispensable as AI capabilities continue to advance?
What can organizations learn from the patterns of everyday work?
Where do human judgment, accountability, and experience fit in an increasingly AI-enabled world?
We also discussed why understanding how work actually happens inside organizations may become just as important as understanding the technology itself.
One of the biggest questions organizations may face over the next few years isn’t simply what AI can do.
It may be understanding what people still uniquely contribute.
I’d be interested in hearing what others are seeing inside their own organizations.
What human capabilities do you believe become more valuable as AI capabilities continue to improve?
Thank you to John Golden and the SalesPOP! team for the thoughtful conversation and the opportunity to share some of the ideas behind An Inbox Between Us.
